Here are the current pics of our remodeling. It's so beautiful -we are very happy with it. After much researching and deliberation, we decided against bamboo and went with a sustainably grown hickory instead, since we figured that would make for a smaller footprint with it not coming from China. We also got new trim, all the doors are freshly painted, the dark wood beams are painted and the hall closet got re-done so that we have more storage space. The new railing should be getting done this week. It's makes me very happy to no longer have the stained carpet and the ugly linoleum.
It's a whole new house!

ReplyDeleteThanks! We can't claim responsibility though since we actually hired someone to do it (Michael has helped some though). It is such a pleasure to clean this beautiful wood now.
