Labor day weekend

Many Parks Curve in Rocky Mt

lookout on Trail Ridge Road

Alpine visitors center in the park

Elk

Mommy and baby moose. Z was asleep in the car and missed them. They didn't seem bothered at all by the crowd.

Michael took the boys "fishing" at a pretty lake near Lake Granby. Having no interest in that, I opted for a lovely trail run by myself around said lake.

We planned to camp at least one night, but admit that we are wimps and opted for staying with our friends Jeff and Libby in their cabin on Lake Granby.

A real wooden boardwalk in Grand Lake

A historic old dude ranch in Rocky where we stopped for a short hike and activities. It started pouring while we were at the ranch and had to hurry 1/2 mi back to the car. And of course, it mostly stopped raining shortly after that.

Z is clutching his kid activity book for the natl park.

Learning to rope a calf (or maybe a brother)

Doing some laundry. I should make them help me at home too!

Buffalo hide coat. It weighs about 30 lbs.

Terran lost a tooth finally. The adult tooth came in behind the baby tooth and pushed it out. Never seen that before but hopefully the adult tooth will move into the right place. I think we need to set up a braces fund for this one. Now both top teeth are a little lose and another bottom one too. He might look funny for a little bit! Can't believe he's turning 7 on Monday!
