Terran had his first big crash, concussion and ambulance ride last night. Luckily, he is just fine now, except for some soreness and the scrapes and bruises. He and Michael were riding bikes on the dirt trails by the house and he crashed going down a hill and did a face plant. Michael brought him right home after the fall to clean him up, but I thought he looked like he needed to go to the ER since his face was already pretty swollen. Then in the car he was passing out and threw up a bunch, so we stopped and called 911 instead. So then he was put on a stretcher with a neck brace etc, which was pretty scary. Michael rode with him in the ambulance and Zane and I followed in the car. He was a great sport about the whole thing and told me after that he was upset that he had to lay down in the ambulance. After a CT scan of his head and face, we found out that he was fine and took him back home. One more Friday evening in the ER for us (seems like that happens too often). Today he was doing pretty well, just a little more tired than usual. He still enjoyed going to dinosaur discovery day at the fossil site in Morrison.
