Day 4 - Kayak/snorkel trip, A'Bay & Dolphins

Michael and I went on a morning kayak/snorkel trip across Kealakekua Bay to the Captain Cook Monument. This was a trip led be a guide. There we 6 of us, so a nice small group. We went in 2 person sea kayaks that were easy to paddle and the water was really calm in the morning. The bay has a steep cliff wall along it and then you get to the Captain Cook Monument, where you know need a permit to land at, even with a kayak since it's a protected marine area. You can hike down a steep trail to get to it as well. I had wanted to do the trail through the jungle too but it seemed like we should do one kayak trip.
